When I became a parent, I wanted to nurture all aspects of my children – mind, body and soul. I knew that, in order for my boys to thrive, I needed to parent every part of them. Through my training and experience as a primary school teacher, I felt I had a good understanding of the cognitive and physcial development of children but I didn’t know much about spiritual development.
So I set out to discover more about how to parent my children’s spirits and I quickly made some important realisations. I realised that the true purpose of parenting is to honour & empower our children so that they can be the people they came here to be. It is also to allow our children to raise us. And the beauty is that all this can be done in the ordinary moments we have with our children – because our spirituality is not separate from everyday life, it is an aspect of everything we do. In this way, my approach to parenting is very “practical”.
Now that I am further along my spiritual parenting journey, I am keen to support other parents who are travelling along a similar path. Currently, I do this through my blog and my weekly newsletter and one of my goals for this year is to get out from behind my keyboard to connect with parents in-person too. I’d love you and your children to join me on this road to Love and authenticity. Welcome.
Much love to you and your little souls,
